This competition is Inspired by the horror film “US” directed by Jordan peele where competitors will use only shears (razor is also allowed) for the entirety of the category. Competitors have 45 minutes to create any style and can style their models with any Halloween theme. WATCH YOUR FINGERS!
Judging HAIRSTYLE ONLY, costume is encouraged
THE PERFECT DOLL
“Beware the stare of Mary Shaw, she had no children only dolls, and if you see her in your dreams, be sure to never scream”
This category is inspired by the horror film “DEAD SILENCE” directed by James wan. Competitors will have 45 Minutes to create their PERFECT doll, any hairstyle of their choosing and models MUST be in a Doll like costume.

This category is inspired by the gory film “SAW” directed by James Wan. This will be a TAG TEAM category where competitors will take turns cutting their model's hair and will SWITCH who’s cutting every time they hear the sound of a BUZZER. buzzer is at random so listen closely, you choose, live or die. Make it out alive.

Are you ready to transform into something spooky, glamorous, or out-of-this-world this Halloween? Now’s your chance to showcase your hair and makeup skills in our Halloween Costume Contest! 💀
JUDGING CRITERIA
Our panel of judges will score entries based on the following categories:

Creativity (30%)
How original and unique is your Halloween look? Are you showcasing something new or putting a fresh spin on a classic theme? -
Skill & Technique (30%):
Quality of makeup application and hair styling. This includes blending, color choices, and attention to detail. -
Theme Execution (20%):
How well does your look represent the Halloween theme? Is it spooky, glamorous, or fun? -
Overall Presentation (20%):
The overall impact of your look. Does it stand out? Is the costume, makeup, and hair cohesive and well put together?
There is no need to pre-register for this contest.
Just arrive before 9:00 pm, upon check-in, register and receive a ticket to enter. All participants will be called up after the 3 showcases are complete to be judged by a panel and crowd response!
